3:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Polygons, Propagation and the Fabric: What Providers Need to Know about Federal Broadband Data Collection

For more than two decades, the FCC has wrestled with rules to promote deployment of broadband technologies in apartment buildings and other MTEs, while also encouraging competition for service to tenants. Earlier this year, one of the first items moved by the FCC Chair was a revision to rules promoting competition in MTEs. This session will discuss the FCC MTE order, how we got here and how effectively the order lives up to its promise, and provide a guide to the new rules of the road in MTEs. We'll also look at what the order means for service providers striking new arrangements and for existing arrangements that include revenue sharing and/or cooperative marketing provisions.
